 Band Profile

Element 5 are a Swedish band that were created in 2012. They started off by uploading videos to youtube of a few of their songs.  In all of the videos, a strong controversial message is shown as well as the actresses and actors appearances are hidden by wearing  Day of the dead masks. One of the videos received over 20K views in which boosted their careers meaning they were signed by  records. Up until 2014, the identity of who they were and even how many members of the band there were was unknown.   On the exclusive performance at Shepherd Bush Empire where they opened for Circa Waves, who are signed by the same record label, they revealed their identity to the audience. The band is made up of Elvar Kronn, Oscar Johnson, Celestine Dubois, Patrick Healy and Jack Watson. The age range is 21 -23. The majority of the band met at the London school of economics where they formed the band and now use their music to express political and cultural issues.
